Description

[Machine Translation] Berlin, 1945. The end of war is the beginning of events. A crime suspense film starring George Clooney and directed by Steven Soderbergh that takes on the film noir genre of the golden age of cinema in the 1940s! American journalist Jake Geismer (George Clooney) visits Berlin just after the war. What comes to mind: his wish for peace or his curiosity as a reporter? When Jake is reunited with his former girlfriend, Raina ( Cate Blanchett ), he is puzzled and intrigued by the coincidence of meeting the woman he has loved most in his life. Soon after, Tully ( Tobey Maguire ), Raina's current lover and Jake's driver, dies mysteriously. While no one questions his death, Jake sets out on his own to investigate.
