[4K digital restoration, a set of two discs in total, an Ultra HD Blu-ray (HDR version) plus a 4K Blu-ray] The Kadokawa Film UHD Project aims to restore the original color design by referring to such materials as the timing data of the period, past masters, and prints used for screening. For this product, the SDR version uses the master that cinematographer Seizo Sengen supervised during his lifetime, and the HDR version (contained on the Ultra HD Blu-ray) uses a new master produced in 2025 under the supervision of Shunichi Ogura in charge of timing, based on the records from cinematographer Seizo Sengen's 4K SDR supervision. When the HDR version master was produced, additional restoration and additional grading were carried out using the latest technology of IMAGICA Entertainment Media Services Inc.
