Description

[Machine Translation] King of Groove" J. Gadson shares his authentic funk/R&B drumming. Drummer James Gadson has participated in recordings and sessions with Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, and others, and supported Motown's golden era. He is a super drummer who has played on more than 3,000 recordings. In this DVD, James Gadson himself presents a variety of funk/R&B grooves with band demonstrations. The process of the influx and development of 12/8 African beats in the U.S. is demonstrated by rhythm and by region. The presentation will include not only the key points of playing each beat, but also knowledge of the formation and transition of the rhythms. In addition, live performances with guests are also included. Please enjoy this masterful performance by a funk/R&B groove master.
