[Machine Translation] In cooperation with Kyoto City, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Kyoto-Paris Friendship Pact "White Nights" More than 10 years ago, I was fortunate enough to experience White Nights in Paris. Fortunately, I experienced the midnight sun in Paris. The sun was literally shining white. The sun was literally shining white and there were loud cheers and laughter from time to time. The woman in this song ( Mademoiselle ) is a fiction of mine. I can still recall the beauty of the midnight sun. Is it a trick of nature or the arrangement of the heavens? / / / / / lyrics by Toshio-chan "Taro and Giro" In 1956, the first Antarctic observation team left for the South Pole. Among the 22 Karafuto dogs, which were probably organized for dog sledding, were two brothers, Taro and Jiro. It was only 11 years after the war. Unfortunately, Giro died in Antarctica and returned home silently. Taro returned home in good health and died of old age in 1970. Today, Giro is on display at the Hokkaido University Botanical Garden in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Giro is on display at the National Science Museum in Ueno, Tokyo. For more information, please visit the National Institute of Polar Research, Antarctic and Arctic Science Museum in Tachikawa, Tokyo. Thank you, Taro and Giro.
