wooderd chiarie、約1年振りとなる新作は3曲入りEP。昨年リリースの1stアルバム「シンボリック・エレファント」ではそれまで温めてきた初期の楽曲から最新の楽曲までを収録し、サウンド・レンジの広さやクオリティーの高さを魅せ付け、改めて日本のロックシーンで無二の存在を証明した名盤となり、各方面から絶賛を浴びた。それから僅か1年、これまで以上の制作意欲と豊富なネタで量産した楽曲からセレクトした3曲をニューEPとしてリリース。POPかつストレートなサウンドと、前向きな歌詞が印象的なリードトラック「オルフォイス」。タイトなリズムと疾走する狂気的なギター、そして上邨のクールなボーカルスタイルが新鮮な「浮カブ沈ム」。最後はウッダードチアリの真骨頂とも言うべき、優しいメロディとボーカル、そしてどこまでも切なく鳴り響き浮遊するギターが、儚く美しい圧倒的な世界観で描く「アリス」。今作は全曲サウンドアプローチが異なり聴き応えは十分。次作に期待が高まる名作。必聴です。
