Voyage - Yume no Tochu -

[Machine Translation] Mari Momose, pianist/composer, celebrates her 10th anniversary with a full-length album of recordings made at a concert hall. The first full album recorded in a hall on a grand scale was finally realized with the support of over 60 people. The "Mari Momose Orchestra" consists of 15 veterans in strings, woodwinds, brass, bass, and percussion. The delicate and lyrical world of the music is dramatically depicted on a grand scale. The hall recording gives a sense of realism and togetherness, and even the breath of the musicians is vividly conveyed. I want to deliver the power to move forward, even if only a little, to all those who are traveling in the present. The first track, "Overture," is a quiet piano melody that descends from the sky, and the cello's emotional melody takes us on a grand journey. The second piece, the title track "Voyage," has been performed by the orchestra many times, and is now finally available on CD. The sound is powerful, with a total of 16 musicians. The voyage with a dream on board continues through stormy days and shimmering water. The seasons pass in summer and autumn, and the seventh song, a sentimental violin and piano duo sings of the passing time and the fading spring; the eighth song, a magnificent ballad with a sad saxophone tone, climaxes the journey, and the last song, a piano solo, rises into the sky after the dream. Mari Momose herself composed, arranged, and produced the entire album. Veteran musicians from the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra and Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra will join the string section, while woodwinds, brass, and percussion will be provided by musicians active in the Japanese top scene. <profile> Mari Momose ( pianist/composer ) is a pianist and composer who delivers healing jazz sounds with the colors of the sky and the scent of the forest.
