Barefoot

Michihiro started of giving us his full potential. Every song is unique until to date. This Album contains mostly J-Pop, although he tried to boost some tunes with more rock like themes. He uses many guitars for the instrumental parts, so his music differs a lot from the music known by Fans of Iceman. This indeed IS his first Album, although the Release Date is a little irritating. Barefoot was released in 2001, with TOKUMA Communications as Distributor. (The Same thing as Enrai - out of the garden, wich has been released in 2002) That Contract was broken up in 2003, so both of the Albums were rereleased in 2003 by LEAP themselves with other Catalogue #'s. (That's why both Albums have the same Release Date on cdjapan) A hint for collectors: Barefoot's FIRST release from September 2001 was shipped as two Disc release, adding a PR Single, wich originally was given away on a concert in June 2001. This Single (Wonderful Life) is not being sold elsewhere, so you might want to search the web for the 1st Release, although its VERY hard (and usually expensive) to get. (I was lucky to get my hands on it! :)

Yet another ammazing album by Rin that features, once more, his wonderous vocal range. From the strong confident beets present in decidence to the sensual edge in nell flap this album does not disapoint once! Definatly a must have for the Rin divotee

Many people seem to think that this is his first album, instead of the underrated and forgotten 'enrai -out of the garden-'. However, that's not a bad thing - I consider this album to be the real kick-start of his solo career, as it is an excellent album, especially for only being his second. :) His musical style cannot fit into one genre, because it's so diverse; every song is different, yet has that same charm and quality that only Michihiro Kuroda can deliver. This is an excellent album for any collection, with a presently great pricetag to boot!
