Description

DVD release of the violent Korean thriller "Kuroi Ie" based on the award-winning novel of the same name. When an insurance investigator receives a consultation phone call from a female client inquiring whether insurance money is paid in the event of suicide. Thinking she's planning to commit suicide herself, the investigator ignores his training and decides to tell her her the story of his younger brother who also committed suicide in hopes of keeping her from following the same fate. A few days later the investigator is summoned by the manager of a metal manufacturing plant he's never heard of, only to be shown the body of the managers 7-year-old son whom has hung himself.
