[Machine Translation] Costello's friend Steve Niven sings with a longtime family friend on this duo album, and will visit Japan in December to perform at the new EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Roppongi (the first time an international artist will perform at the same venue). Elvis Costello & The Imposters (December 11-13). Steve Naive, Costello's musical partner since the 1970s, will be performing solo. The concept of this album is a "duo" format, with three French poems written by Muriel Theodori, Naive's public and private partner (now living in France), and lyrics written by Costello for the songs with Sting. The French lyrics for the songs with Sting were written by Muriel Theodori, a public and private partner of Nive (who now lives in France). In addition to Sting and Costello, the group also includes Vanessa Paradis, Laurie Anderson, Robert Wyatt, Joe Sumner, and Ron Sexsmith. The content is a testament to Naive's influence. The recording began as a session with French artist Tall Ulyss. The recording was done at a studio in the suburbs of Paris, and many French artists participated in the recording in addition to the above-mentioned artists.
