The Sly, Slick And The Wicked [Limited Release]

[Machine Translation] [BRUNSWICK FAVORITE COLLECTION THE SOUND OF CHICAGO SOUL] Brunswick Records is releasing original and edited albums from the entire catalog of Chicago Soul's prestigious "Brunswick Records" over a period of three years. This is the first time that the Brunswick label's appeal has been explored in Japan. Michihiko Takahashi is the producer of this project. The four vocalists were formed by Laurel Simon, who later had a solo hit with "Mellow Mellow Right On," with his brother Fred and others. The group's debut hit, "Sweet Soul," was produced by Willie Henderson of Eugene Records and arranged by Tom Washington. The album's title track, "Sweet Soul," was a debut hit. The album also brought a Chicago flavor to covers by The Moments and The Delfonics. First domestic release on CD. Includes all 9 songs. Includes English lyrics and new commentary.

Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
