Bert Appermont A Brussels Requiem

[Machine Translation] The return! Live recording of the regular concert held for the first time in three years! This is a live recording of the regular concert of the Tokai University Sapporo High School Symphonic Band held for the first time in three years. Due to the spread of a new infectious disease, the band had to suspend their activities and cancel concerts, and it is said that they were unable to practice satisfactorily, but they still have the same robust and majestic sound as before. The "Tokai-Sapporo Sound" has returned to the land of the north. The main title is "Brussels Requiem," which was performed as a free piece at the All Japan Brass Band Competition, with guest conducting by Toshiya Nakamura. Toshio Mashima's "Tofu-Kochi-" will be conducted by assistant advisor Mr. Takeshi Takechi, bringing a new style to the school. The beautiful and deep tones of the solo reed clarinet "Rahoon" by Sakura Torigata, a young up-and-coming clarinetist who studied in France and won second prize at the Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, will captivate the hearts of the students. Pops music is arranged by the well-known Naohiro Iwai, with a fun yet authentic sound. The lineup is filled with the true joy of brass band music.
