This is the best album of avril ever! It rocks. Songs like Innocence, Hot, One of Those Girls, Comtagious are the best. Avril rocks!

After Avril's second album, which paled in comparison to her first one, I was expecting Avril to return to her roots - back to making refreshing, original, effective and accomplished Pop music.. - But no. The Best Damn Thing is actually Avril's most commercially calculated album to date. Designed to sound "edgy" and appeal to today's teenagers, the whole album ends up sounding dull and grating. Avril's voice sounds.. for lack of a better word, "stringy" in pretty much all of the songs. There is actually very little variation in how she uses her voice from song to song. Most of the fast-paced songs on this album sound like they were .. inspired by Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl", which is actually catchier than anything on this album. - Where are the kind of songs we heard on her first album? - Why can't there be a new song like "Why"? (The wonderful first album's Japanese Edition -bonus track, a real hidden gem!) After skimming through The Best Damn Thing, I came to the conclusion that this is actually Avril's Worst Damn Thing, and had to soothe my ears with Yoko Ishida's sweet voice! -I sure won't be buying Avril's next album without hearing it first, and probably not after either.

Great cd! But this cd is edited. This is the non Parental Advisory version which sucks. I will be more aware when ordering from cdjapan as I now have to buy the American version to get the original songs.

This is going to be the best album from avril lavigne and i cant wait!! Dont wait more and pre-order it now! Its worth it! and it has bonus tracks! thats so cool
