Japan really found their style with this album,their third release.the first two had glam rock roots and were met with poor reviews.by the time they came to record Quiet life the new wave movement had started allowing david sylvian to express himself wonderfully on this album.Japan had limited chart success but they built up a great fan base through their albums,this one inparticular.this album is full of energetic beats thanks to the drumming of steve jansen who stamped his unique style on all japans albums.if you are thinking of investing in a japan cd look no further,with 24 bit remastering the sound qulity will blow you away!!
