Description

Fun-packed sci-fi horror action comedy directed by Keita Amamiya ("Tao no Tsuki - Moon over Tao"). Iria is an alien bounty hunter who has come to planet Earth with her computer partner Bob, to capture an evil sentient weapon called Zeiram who has escaped from an intergalactic prison. Kamiya and Teppei, a pair of electronics repairmen are accidentally transported to the Zone where Iria and Bob have trapped Zeiram. The zone is actually a temporary alternate dimension, and Iria must capture or destroy Zeiram before it disappears for good, with the reluctant help from the bumbling duo. Statuesque and athletic actress, Yuko Moriyama is perfectly cast as the butt-kicking heroine. It spawned an equally excellent sequel and an anime series.
