2024年5月11日(土)～12日(日)東京ガーデンシアターにて上演された音楽朗読劇READING HIGH 第十二回公演『ROAD to AVALON』の模様を収録。――岩に突き刺さった「エクスカリバー」 この剣を抜いたものが次の王となる。その刃は全てを薙ぎ払い、その鞘は主を不老不死とするもの。少年はその剣を抜き、王となる運命を得た。少年の名はアーサー「過去の王にして 未来の王」と称されるアーサー王である。その剣に認められし王は、多くの仲間を得た。円卓の騎士である。円卓は上座もなく下座もない座る騎士すべてがアーサー王の下、平等であった。アーサー王はエクスカリバーを手に円卓の騎士たちと数多の戦いに勝利し伝説の人となった。しかし、異変はある日訪れた。アーサー王の髪に一本の白髪が生えた。持つ者を不老不死とするエクスカリバーに認められし者に「老い」が訪れた。そう・・・アーサー王はエクスカリバーに拒絶されていた。かつては体の一部ように動いていたエクスカリバー。今は触っただけで、全身に雷が走るような痛みに襲われる。エクスカリバーに認められしアーサー王はただの人となってしまった。そうなれば、アーサー王の王国は崩壊し再び戦乱の時代へと逆戻りしてしまう。これは、アーサー王伝説が終焉を迎える、ほんの少し前の物語である。本編ディスク+特典ディスクの2枚組。本編ディスクには、本編 スイッチング映像・千秋楽スペシャルカーテンコール、特典ディスクには、本編 全景映像を収録。三方背ケース、デジジャケット仕様。豪華ブックレット封入。※仕様・特典は変更となる可能性がございます。
