Ice Quake

[Machine Translation] It is a white hell where everything is frozen - a tectonic shift that has hit Alaska. It was only a prelude to a crisis. Collapsing permafrost, spewing ultra-low-temperature methane gas. The "Ice Quake," a terrifying event that will bring ruin to the earth. Can the wisdom and courage of mankind overcome the fury of Mother Nature? Christmas Eve. A mysterious earthquake swarm occurs in Alaska. Michael, a geologist, begins to investigate and discovers that the permafrost layer beneath the ground is melting and leaking methane gas contained in the ice. The crustal movement does not stop, and the ultra-low-temperature gases erupting from the crevasses take away people's lives. Michael and his family are also in a desperate situation when a huge avalanche occurs. Liquefied methane fills the subterranean caverns, and a major outburst would surely kill all life on earth. The only way to avert a catastrophe is to direct the methane to an oil storage terminal and burn it all up at once in an explosion plan. Michael and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers take on this extremely dangerous operation... Deca-subtitles are used.
