神戸を拠点とする「セックスマシーン!!」と大阪を拠点とする「PAN」が2バンドによるコラボレーション企画を始動! 2020年のPAN結成25周年記念企画で行った2バンドによるキャンプ場からの生配信ライブをきっかけに「キャンプ」「アウトドア」をテーマに取り入れたコラボ企画をスタートさせる。その第一弾企画として「セックスマシーン!!」×「PAN」のスプリットCD「天井開放」をリリースすることが決定! 収録内容は、「セックスマシーン!!」×「PAN」合同制作した新曲「天歌」(テンカ)や、「セックスマシーン!!」「PAN」それぞれの新曲1曲ずつ、キャンプソングとしても有名な「キャンプだホイ」「カントリーロード」をアレンジしたカバー楽曲2曲、そして、CDのみに収録予定の特典楽曲2曲など8曲が収録されている。
