This guidebook was written for visitors to Japan to help them communicate easily in Japanese.

It avoided focusing too much on proper Japanese in favor of presenting the kind of Japanese that is actually used in everyday life. Putting aside more complicated things like grammar or the study of characters, this book is meant to be used as soon as you open it.
