"All Things Must Pass [Limited Edition]" by George Harrison

Description

Three major George Harrison albums - "All Things Must Pass," "Living in the Material World," and "Cloud Nine" - are being released on "100% Pure LP," a super high-end analog format attracting attention in Japan and overseas. Introduced in 2012, 100% Pure LP is a special Made in Japan product and a pioneer of modern high-fidelity vinyl that has drawn attention around the world.

One of its defining features is the use of uncolored virgin vinyl. It eliminates coloring agents such as the carbon used in standard analog records, which can affect the sound, and uses only pure vinyl chloride to improve the stability of the molding process.

Another key feature is metal master pressing. By omitting the metal mother and stamper stages from the standard analog pressing process and pressing directly from the metal master, this method enables highly faithful groove formation. Because this reduces durability, the pressing quantity is strictly limited. This edition also uses the 45 rpm speed commonly employed for 12-inch singles instead of the standard 33 rpm LP speed. Although this shortens the playing time available on each side, it permits wider and longer grooves, while the higher rotation speed improves stability and provides advantages in detail reproduction and fuller volume.

The audio is mastered as flat as possible from high-spec WAV files newly transferred from the original analog master tapes, preserving the freshness of the sound and its dynamic range while pursuing a natural presentation faithful to the original recording. By refining every stage, from the selection of the master and vinyl materials through pressing, 100% Pure LP draws out the full potential of the record. The result is a pure and clear sound free from murkiness and unwanted coloration while retaining the body and warmth unique to analog.

"All Things Must Pass," George Harrison's first album following the Beatles' breakup, poured out the frustrations and songs he had accumulated and became a landmark in rock history. Its 23 tracks include "I'd Have You Anytime," co-written with Bob Dylan and featuring a solo by Eric Clapton, the UK and US No. 1 hit "My Sweet Lord," and jam sessions featuring an all-star lineup. The album was originally released in 1970.

This 2026 edition uses a newly prepared 192kHz/24-bit WAV master transferred from the UK original master tapes. It is a 45 rpm 4LP set pressed on 180g uncolored virgin vinyl using metal master pressing. The serial-numbered box replicates the original LP package and includes new liner notes by Kunihiko Fujimoto, lyrics, and Japanese translations. It is limited to 1,500 copies.

Because this product is extremely limited, purchases are limited to one copy per customer.
