SUNSHINE & MOONLIGHT [Blu-spec CD2]

Since its striking record debut in 1979, "CASIOPEA" has kept running at the top of the fusion scene as a milestone of Japanese instrumental music. After several member changes, in May 2025 the band launched the fifth period of the reborn "CASIOPEA" with a lineup built around the fluid and overwhelming guitar work of leader Issei Noro. The rhythm section consists of Yoshihiro Naruse, a genius of chopper bass, and Yoshinori Imai, whose superb technique on drums powerfully drives the band, while Jun Abe adds color on keyboards with refined keyboard work. The first album "TRUE BLUE" was released on August 27, 2025 and was welcomed with great acclaim. After the 2025 WINTER TOUR, the Billboard Live TOUR in spring 2026, and the domestic SUMMER TOUR, the two shows in Los Angeles, USA on September 12 and 13, 2026 (two days sold out) were also a great success, and the night of fervor brought American fusion fans to their feet, enveloped in loud cheers and standing ovations. And on December 2, 2026, the band will release its long-awaited second album "SUNSHINE & MOONLIGHT", the first since the triumphant return from America. A fusion of dazzling, energetic sound like the sun and refined, emotional melodies like the moon! "CASIOPEA" etches a new brilliance into the fusion scene! A masterpiece that condenses the "now" of the reborn "CASIOPEA", where overwhelming technique, a sense of speed, and refined melodies intersect. Please enjoy it. Comes in Blu-spec CD2 format with high sound quality. Comes with a booklet in a deluxe photobook format.
