Light Novel

Penguin Highway has a very distinctive combination of childhood adventure, mystery, science fiction, and everyday life. The appearance of penguins in an ordinary suburban town creates an unusual mystery, while the young narrator gives the story a curious and imaginative perspective. The story gradually expands from a small local mystery into something much larger and more mysterious. It is a good example of a Japanese novel that can feel imaginative and cinematic while still having plenty of ordinary details and humor.

The packaging was great, nothing came ruined. The cover of hikaru seems so symbolic and great. The bonus booklet and also a side story which I think is really nice to have. The novel shows into depth of the story and tells more detail of each event!
