[Machine Translation] [Arnoncourt/Mozart: Special Re-Release Project] Celebration of Arnoncourt's Visit to Japan & Celebration! Arnoncourt's visit to Japan & Celebration of Mozart's 250th birthday! 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth! Warner Classics/Terdec is proud to announce the re-release of 9 titles from their catalog. Hampson, Brochowitz, Bonney! Arnoncourt, who employed the Zurich Opera Orchestra for "The Magic Flute," chose the Concertgebouw Orchestra for this recording. Arnoncourt's performance is a far cry from the usual superficial tracing of the opera's dramaturgy, and he extracts the dramaturgy of the work from the ground up. A completely seamless performance by a splendid lineup of singers. Includes Japanese commentary and bilingual lyrics. Recorded in Amsterdam, October 1988
