A cover album in which Kazukiyo Nishikiori, who is also active as a stage director, engages with the works of singer-songwriter Nana Yanase, whose songs he has used in his stage productions over many years. The connection between the two began with their encounter with the cheer song "Makenai Towel," created right after the Great East Japan Earthquake, and over the following roughly ten years it led to numerous songs coloring Nishikiori's directed productions. This work contains five Nana Yanase songs, including a song first used on stage. Songs that quietly gaze at people's pain, kindness, and hope are carefully woven with Nishikiori's own warm singing voice. The recording was carried out within Nara Prefecture. Nana Yanase's support members gathered for the performance and recording, packaging the unaffected, natural atmosphere and rich warmth just as they are. Rather than flashy decoration, it is a disc that makes you feel anew the power of song that gently accompanies life's joys and sorrows. After listening, it becomes a work that leaves a gentle afterglow, as if you received the word "thank you" as a souvenir. The CD booklet comes with commentary on all songs written by Nana Yanase herself in vivid, scenic prose.
