The 130+ minute full live performance from the Los Angeles Sports Arena show on April 26, 1975, included as audio content on the Blu-ray of "Wish You Were Here (50th Anniversary Edition)," is released separately as a 2CD set. The set features early versions of songs later included on "Wish You Were Here" and "Animals," which were still unreleased at the time ("Raving and Drooling" later became "Sheep" / "You've Got to Be Crazy" later became "Dogs"), as well as a full performance of "The Dark Side of the Moon." Recorded by famous bootlegger Mike Millard, then meticulously restored and remastered by Steven Wilson (who REMIXed "Pink Floyd at Pompeii"), all 16 tracks receive their first official release. Although it was a bootleg at the time, Rolling Stone magazine praised it highly: "If Pink Floyd ever decides to create a Bootleg Series, they should get their hands on Millard's master tapes. It's the band at the peak of their abilities as a live act and deserves to be heard as widely as possible." (Rolling Stone, 2021). A historic live recording capturing the moment in 1975 as Pink Floyd moved from "The Dark Side of the Moon" to "Wish You Were Here," an important night in the band's history is brilliantly revived using state-of-the-art technology. Softpack packaging. Includes commentary, lyrics, and Japanese translations. Please note that since this item is a Friday on-sale item, delivery will be on or after the release date.
