[Machine Translation]
The things by your side are you.
" Things are
your true self.
That very thing. "
BY MY SIDE.
People live alongside "things." Just as a person is reflected in their bookshelf, the "things" by their side reveal their true nature. Things are tools. Things are memories. Things are comfort. Things are imagination. Things are space. Things are part of the body. Things are oneself. This "Looking at Things" feature conveys the background behind the creation of objects through the eyes of artisans working with ceramics, wood, metal, fabric, washi paper, and more. The cover illustration by Misato Ogihara was created under the theme "Window of Thought."
