[Machine Translation] Lui Bluesface ( A.K.A Sugimura Rui ) emerged as the vocalist of the legendary MODS band The HaiR in the late 1980s, and later sang in Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra after the death of his brother Gimura. After 10 years since their formation, The Tokyo Locals, led by Lui, finally released their debut album on Lui's own label, Local Production Records! Including one original song, the album is a condensation of the roots music Lui has been playing, from classic numbers by Gershwin and Cab Calloway to R&B numbers by James Brown, with a focus on blues.
