First volume in the "Re Cutey Honey" anime trilogy by Hideaki Anno of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" fame. The series is a spin-off from the theatrical "Cutey Honey" movie starring Eriko Sato, and directed by Anno himself. The show fleshes out the live action movie's plot elements that ended up on the cutting room floor, and elaborates on Honey's powers and nanomachine technologies. A booklet included.
