Jennifer Lopez (""The Wedding Planner," "The Cell") delivers a riveting performance in this bio-pic about Selena, the Latin-pop sensation whose life was cut short at age 24 when she was murdered by the former president of her fan club. The ever-reliable Edward James Olmos ("Blade Runner," "American Me") is great as usual portraying her father Abraham, who was the guiding force in her career.
